‘Shangri-La’ also gives inhouse guests the opportunity of an authentic Kandyan kitchen with all the traditional utensils where they could enjoy a home cooked Sri Lankan meal and also have the opportunity, if they wish, of participating in the preparation of it. Food is made using traditional recipes of the ancient Kandyan period.
